That's Life
In the past couple of months, a lot of things went down. Some good, some bad, but I've come to terms with it and realized simply, that's life.Though some friendships were gained and lost. Jobs were handed to me, and taken away from me. All the things that I have are not mine. God gave them to me, and He took some of them away. In the end, I cannot rely on anything or anyone, but Him. The Lord has been teaching me to find myself in Him. I will not be defined by my friends, my wealth, or even my passion. I am defined as His daughter. He is my father, He is my lover, and He is my rock. I'll admit that in times of trouble, I don't always turn to Him first, but lately, that has changed. Everyday, He has shown more and more of His love for me, and all I can do is plainly accept it and love Him in return. I'm content with who I am because I know He loves me. Man, this all sounds so cheesy, but my prayers are being answered. I want to be in love, in love with Him, and it is finally happening again

WOW! I felt like I was really a devotional. Great post. One of your best. It was really encouraging filled with theology and all very true. Can't wait to catch up on Monday!! Praying for your new job opportunity and plans for NY :-)
